A rapidly aging, retired, history professor, married to a rapidly aging, but still working, psychology professor. Two delightful and deeply loved young adult children: one with ADHD, the other with an Autism Spectrum Condition. One large black dog. And one extremely mischievous orange cat.
Originally, this blog was mostly about family doings, which can be pretty chaotic . . . . But for the last five years I’ve been working on a book on autism and human rights in the U.S.A., drawing on the most recent research, but focusing on #actuallyautistic voices. So now most blog entries are actually short sections of the book–with only occasional digressions into family life.
